About Amriteswari Society – Singapore

(Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi)

Amriteswari Society was registered on July 24th 1996, as a Society under the Societies Act of Singapore with the following objectives:

1) to organise and promote activities for the development of spiritual, moral and social values as described in the teachings of Her Holiness Sri Sri Mata Amritanandamayi of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Vallikavu, Quilon, India

2) to organise discussions, talks, meetings and prayers for the purpose of providing opportunities and facilities to guide the young to become good members of society and citizens of Singapore, and

3) to carry out charitable activities

The Society moved to its own premises at No. 3 Hindoo Road in 2003. This is where most of our activities are conducted. As members of Amriteswari Society, we work together as a family to organise Amma’s Programmes here in Singapore, as well as to stay focussed on Amma’s teachings and progress on our spiritual paths.

To quote our Chairman Mr. Rajan Menon who has said in a speech:

Each one of us is so immensely blessed to be in existence during your lifetime, Amma, and to journey through this life with you, as our Guiding and Loving Light.”
