The first Asia-Pacific Spiritual Retreat ended on 31st March 2024. Swamiji left Singapore, leaving behind unforgettable memories and the lingering fragrance of spirituality.
Before he left Singapore, Swamiji expressed his appreciation for how well the event was organized and how receptive devotees had been during his talks. Swamiji also graced the Centre with a visit, and reminded us that we must continue building on our efforts to promote and practise Amma’s teachings.
Amma called to say that she was pleased with Amriteswari Society for organizing such an event. She expressed that happiness during her onscreen appearance on the second day of the retreat.
It has been said that the Guru draws devotees to her initially, but later, the devotees must draw her to them by their longing for God. During his visit to the Centre, Swamiji said that Amma cannot resist sincere longing, and that if we long for her with all our heart, she will surely grace Singapore once again with a visit.
Let us capitalize on the spiritual momentum generated by Swamiji’s visit and strive sincerely to please Amma through our collective efforts.
My humble and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your help and hard work, without which the retreat would not have been possible. Your sincerity, selflessness and seva mano-bhava (attitude of service) were truly remarkable.
Ever in Amma’s Service
